Meet Jessica Doyle

Jessica Doyle has worked professionally as a vocal coach, musical director, teacher and performer in top theatres and training programs in NYC, LA, Honolulu and even South Korea.  A native of West Michigan, she opened the Doyle Vocal Studio in Grand Rapids in January 2011.  The studio now offers voice lessons to students of all ages and abilities both in West Michigan and worldwide.  In July 2013 Jessica became a Level III certified teacher of Somatic Voicework (tm) and is a proud member of the Somatic Voicework Teachers Association as well as the National Association of Teachers of Singing, The Musical Theatre Educators Association and the Chicago chapter of the Voice Foundation.  www.somaticvoicework.com 



Jessica earned her Masters of Music in Vocal Performance from Central Michigan University and also holds a BFA in Musical Theatre Performance.  As a vocal coach she trained with top celebrity vocal coach Michael Goodrich through GMH Vocal Studio in Los Angeles and in Somatic Voicework with Jeannette LoVetri.  She also completed Sheri Sanders' 8-week "Rock the Performance" training program focused on Rock/Pop stylings for musical theatre performers.

During the school year Jessica is a professor of Musical Theatre voice at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC, teaching applied voice and Intro to Musical Theatre voice for the BFA Musical Theatre program.   She is a past member of the  faculty at the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre, has created vocal music and performance programs for Frederik Meijer Gardens, and served on the theatre faculty at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp where she taught Musical Theatre Voice as well as Voice for the Contemporary & Shakespeare Actor.

Jessica's past and current students can be seen on community and university stages here in West Michigan and throughout the country, on national tours and on Broadway.  They have signed with record labels, received scholarships from top arts programs and worked in television and film.
